Locking liquidity doesn't mean much on its own. How many times have you watched a "100%" liquidity-locked token get rugged, or drastically dump? We see it all the time.
The truth is, unless you really know what you are looking at - traditional locks can be deceptive. Not to say locking services are doing anything wrong; the information just isn't being read properly generally. A token can lock 100% liquidity, mint new liquidity tokens, and use those newly minted to crash the price.
